GEO agency for professional firms with partners

The GEO agency for firms run by partners. Named when a buyer asks AI which firm to call.

In short: do it yourself if you have the hours, buy a $29 to $489 tracker if your team will fix the pages, hire an agency built for firms with partners if the work is your partners’ names.

GEO, generative engine optimization, is the work that gets a firm named in ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini and Google AI answers. We do it for executive search, advisory, M&A and wealth firms, from $1,300 a month, and the first scan is free.

What a GEO agency does.

Generative engine optimization means making your firm’s public information easy for AI engines to find, trust and repeat. A GEO agency does that work on your pages, your partners’ names and the independent sources an engine checks, then measures every month whether the engines name you. In the 2023 study that coined the term, content changes lifted a source’s visibility in generated answers by up to 40% on the authors’ benchmark: a lab maximum, not a promise.

What the figure shows. On 12 October 2026, ChatGPT answered “Which agency can help an executive search firm get recommended by ChatGPT and Perplexity?” after 4 web searches and 4 pages read. It named 3 agencies: two from their own case-study pages, one from a third-party list. Jungle Roots was absent, as none of our pages was read. An engine names a firm from a page it finds and trusts. Raw answer.

Our own record: 21 answers requested, 19 usable, 0 mentions of Jungle Roots. 13 answers from 5 engines in French on 1 October 2026, 6 from ChatGPT and Perplexity in English on 12 October 2026. FAQ

Questions about GEO agencies

What is a GEO agency?

A GEO agency works on generative engine optimization: making a business easy for AI engines such as ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini and Google AI Overviews to find, trust and name in their answers. The work covers the site’s pages, the people behind the business, the independent sources that confirm it, and a monthly measure of how often the engines name it.

Is GEO different from SEO?

Yes, in what it measures. SEO tracks rankings and clicks on a results page. GEO tracks whether an AI answer names your firm (the answer recommends your firm by name), mentions it (your firm appears, but not as a pick: in passing, as a caveat, or only as a linked source under the answer) or leaves it out. Much of the groundwork is shared: crawlable pages, clear service descriptions, structured data and sources outside your own site.

How much does a GEO agency cost?

Mid-market retainers run $2,000 to $8,000 a month and enterprise programs $10,000 to $30,000 or more, according to Digital Elevator’s guide updated in July 2026. Tracking tools cost $29 to $489 a month. Jungle Roots charges $1,300 to $7,900 a month, and the first scan is free.

How long before AI engines name my firm?

Our target for first citations is within 90 days. It is a target, not a promise: engines re-read pages on their own schedule and answers vary from one run to the next. A Diagnostic, if you want one first, takes about three weeks.

Do you work with SaaS, e-commerce or solo consultants?

No. We work only with professional firms that have partners: executive search, advisory, M&A and private equity, wealth management. A SaaS or e-commerce team is usually better served by a tracking tool or an SEO agency adding GEO; a solo consultant by doing it themselves.

How do you measure results?

We ask a fixed list of buyer questions every month, three times per engine, and count how often your firm is named next to five named competitors. Share of voice is your mentions divided by all mentions of the firms in the set. Every answer is kept, dated, so you can check the count.
